Step 1: Install your gaming steering wheel. 1) Attach the pedals (and shifter) to the Racing Wheel. 2) Attach the power adapter to the Racing Wheel. 3) Connect your Racing Wheel to a free USB port on your PC. 4) Set the pedals, shifter and wheel up on the seat in their designed position. Hi. I noticed that there is a serious unwanted FFB effect while countersteering in Forza Horizon 4 (reason why drifiting/dirt races feels so poor) with Logitech G920. When I turn steering wheel rapidly to full lock and car lost its grip (oversteer/understeer), contersteering towards centre is difficult due to additional unwanted resistance effect. Add a Comment. This is hard coded in the game so you don't as easily lose all front wheel traction or spin your car out. You wouldn't be able to turn more, you'd just lose control.
It feels like there is a huuuuge dead zone and i need to turn my wheel a lot to turn , settings change didnt help. It feels like its pad rather than wheel. I need to add that gamepass version works perfectly with my wheel and same settings.
Supposedly steering wheel support was improved for Horizon 5 but for me it’s just as bad as Horizon 4. Just driving / cruising around I find my G920 is great but as soon as you want to race and you start sliding out / drifting the wheel seems to get confused and I often can’t correct it as I would with a controller. You can invert axis in the game files. There is a manual on the forza page how to do it.
