Hi. This is a video on how to turn off your start-stop feature on your Ford through the vehicle's settings! I hope this helps!
I helped a buddy install one in his F-150 and zero issues thus far too. The beauty of the Autostop Eliminator is you can press the Autostart button on the dash to disable the stop/start feature or press the button again and it will reactivate the stop/start feature.
Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to do it. Start by turning on your Jeep Cherokee and then press the start/stop button once. Next, press and hold the start/stop button for about five seconds. Once the five seconds are up, the stop/start feature will be turned off and you’ll see a message on the display that says “stop/start off.”.
Click "Turn off BitLocker." Open the Command Prompt as an Administrator and type "manage-bde -off :" and press Enter. Open Powershell as an administrator and type "Disable-BitLocker -MountPoint ":" and press Enter. Method 1.
Turning Your Auto-Stop Off. As mentioned, the fix isn’t quite as easy as a single button press, but it’s pretty close to it. It only takes a couple seconds, and you don’t have to hold the brake down for five minutes or anything. You just do the following steps: Turn your car on, but don’t start the engine. Shift the car down to manual.
New Mexico. This video of a guy with a Raptor shows how he disabled auto start/stop by removing disconnecting a cable from under the dash. Seems to work and I am going to try it and report any other issues. What he unhooks maybe just the auto start/stop ignition control wires between the button and the starter module or something to that effect.
